Breath-led somatic coaching

What is somatic coaching?

The integrative understanding of how our thoughts, emotions, physical sensations are connected and how they are manifesting in our lives. We will incorporate body awareness, breathwork and yoga poses to release tension and emotional blockages. By observing the body and witnessing the mind through embodied practices one can cultivate sustainable change, manifesting the keys to the door of your own personal power.


The science behind it...

It has been studied and proven that emotions can manifest physically, muscle tension, headaches or migraines, back and neck pain. We also know that physical states can influence emotional and mental well-being. As studied, physical activity boosts mood and decreases depression.

Body Awareness

Through observation and guided visualizations, we will observe the sensations occurring within different parts of the body. Identifying where the tension and stress is manifesting within the body.

Breathwork

Our breath determines our mental and physical state; it regulates our nervous system and balances our emotional state.  These exercises will balance and strengthen the body-mind connection.

Movement

Movement

Explore and experiment with different yoga poses to release tension within specific parts of the body.  These poses will also help remove emotional blockages that will allow for more flexibility in our daily lives.
