INDIGO FLOW

This 60-minute practice is a combination of poses, breathwork and meditation which are all important aspects of yoga and cannot be separated from one another. It will flow between breathwork exercises, meditation and yin style poses, inviting you to experience a deep relaxation to the nervous system and restoration of the spirit, mind and body on a cellular level.


Yin yoga targets the deep connective tissues of the hips, pelvis and lower spine. These areas hold tremendous stress, emotion, tension and energetic blockages that keep us stuck and lacking motivation, passion and purpose. This practice also will reduce inflammation, stress and toxin buildup from these tissues as well as lubricating the joints to allow for easier movement.


Your breath determines the quality and longevity of your life. Your breath is your spirit, that which gives you life and nourishment to your mind and body. At its core respiration is about reciprocation, transforming our body every 3.3 seconds, leading to restoration of the body down to every cell. Breathwork increases cardiac and nervous system function, increases blood circulation and increases metabolism. All while decreasing blood pressure, heartrate, cortisol levels and anxiety.

Working in harmony with breathwork and poses, the practice of meditation allows for the return to source, that which cannot be named. And, due to the nature of the mind is usually obscured by our external experiences. Meditation is about understanding the nature of your mind-our thoughts and feelings-so that you may be able to hear what the universe is asking of you.

This class will allow for the cultivation of new energy and the release of energy that is no longer serving you. It will allow your true essence to break through so that you may step into your full humanness.
